Before filming resumesWith a pounding heart in April, Roy Dupuis tries to use a little time off. I live in the country and I like it when there is snow. I do cross country skiing. I have 7 miles of hiking trails in the woods,” he told us when we met him at the premiere of limits at the Imperial cinema.

He will be in another Guy Maddin film this summer. “The director with whom I made The Forbidden Room has a new project that needs to be shot abroad.” The one who turns 60 on April 21 calmly contemplates the moment in which he crosses this new milestone becomes. “Until now, I haven’t had a problem with aging. It is certain that I keep myself in better shape than before. I haven’t drunk or smoked in a long time! Also for those who were wondering why he wasn’t present at Live from the Universe last Saturday as his mistress Christina Beaulieu was the guest, he simply said, “There were 22 red roses on the show, and that was from me. It’s very easy. I value my private life and my intimacy. It’s important to me that it stays private and intimate, although I don’t mind some people doing the opposite.
