Prince George turns 10 this Saturday. To mark the occasion, his parents, the Prince and Princess of Wales William and Kate, published a portrait of their eldest son. The one who will one day ascend the British throne appears smiling, seated on the Windsor Steps, wearing a plaid shirt and sea-green trousers.
Usually, the crown prince’s pictures were taken by his mother, Kate Middleton. This time, ten years of duty, it’s Millie Pilkington, a photographer close to the royal family, who has taken care of it. She photographed her brother Louis on his fifth birthday in April, but also the Prince of Wales with his three children on Father’s Day.
From Wimbledon to the front page of the Chron
Prince George’s week will be noticed. On Sunday he was seen at the final of the Wimbledon tennis tournament between Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz alongside his sister Charlotte, who is two years younger.
This Saturday, the young prince will be featured on the cover of Britain’s Chron newspaper, which ran with the headline ‘Isn’t he grown! George is 10 today’.
He was spotted at a cricket match in London in early July. He was photographed eating a slice of pizza while his father chatted with Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.
