Royal expert Katie Nicholls reveals in her book that Britain’s monarch has nicknamed the Duchess of Sussex ‘Tungsten’, the Chron reports.
This is a reference to the transition metal, which has the highest melting point of any metallic element.
“Charles is said to have given his daughter-in-law this nickname because of her strength and resilience,” writes Ms. Nicholls in her book.
The nickname is said to have been given after a performance by Meghan and Harry on their debut accompanied by Kate and William. The former Show Suits actress had been so charming in the eyes of the royal family that she was given the hilarious nickname.
However, it’s uncertain if Meghan Markle still goes by the nickname “Tungsten” after she and her husband lost their royal titles.
