RTC strike: the summer festival takes stock on Tuesday

Under the threat that the strike by the drivers of the Réseau de transport de la Capitale will disrupt its activities, the Festival d’été will explain tomorrow what measures could be taken to compensate for the hundreds of thousands of journeys made on public transport every year during the event to be produced.

The media has been invited to a press conference that will be attended by FEQ President and CEO Nicolas Racine, as well as representatives from the Service de Police de la Ville de Québec and the RTC.

It is not yet possible to assess what options are available to those who usually travel to the various FEQ locations by bus.

The impact of the strike could be significant. Before the pandemic, there were up to 350,000 trips in connection with the summer festival on the eleven evenings of the event.
