Rumer Willis was always the doting mum as she spent a relaxing day at the beach with her daughter and “best friend” Louetta, as seen in new Instagram photos shared on Thursday.
The 35-year-old House Bunny actress – who revealed her baby girl’s name was originally supposed to be Loretta – had a blast spending time with her four-month-old.
The star gave birth to her first child with her partner and singer Derek Richard Thomas in early April this year.
In the main post, she shared a photo of herself sitting under a shaded parasol on the warm sand and hugging Louetta.
She also took to her Instagram Stories to share more pictures, including another of her holding her daughter while sending a smile towards the camera.

Rumer showed off her stunning postnatal figure in a knitted lavender bikini top and matching high-waisted bottoms.
Her curls were tied back in a chic updo so that no loose strands fell into her face.
She accessorized her daytime beach look with a pair of tiny dangling gold earrings as well as dainty gold bracelets on her right wrist.
The star also added two gold chain necklaces, one of which had the word “Lou” on the front, in a sweet nod to her little girl.
The daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore also shared a snap of her breastfeeding Louetta while relaxing in the shade. “Life is good,” she wrote at the top of the photo.
Rumer also included another close-up as she gave her four-month-old child a kiss on the side of the head.
The Once Upon A Time In Hollywood actress welcomed her daughter into the world after announcing that she and boyfriend Derek are expecting their first child in December 2022.
During a recent interview with People, Rumer admitted that her child’s name was actually inspired by a typo in a text message from her partner.

“We thought about the name Loretta and it was a typo. “Her dad and I were texting and he left the ‘R’ out of Loretta and it just said Louetta,” she recalled.
Rumer gushed, “I was like, ‘Oh, I love that!'” I feel like it was one of those moments of divine intervention in the universe, and we actually found that out pretty early in my pregnancy.”
Although the star loved the name, she admitted she had doubts about whether the name Louetta would suit her little girl.
“What was scary was, I love that name, but oh man, is it going to be her name?” Is it the right name? What if she comes out and doesn’t look like this?’
“I fell in love with the name so early that I was afraid it wasn’t going to work.” But then she came out, and I mean, for me, at least for now, I wanted to call her Lou, no matter what was a boy or a girl,” Willis said.
Earlier this month, Rumer posed nude in an Instagram photo as she discussed her body confidence after having a child. “My body has become fundamentally human… and it looks and feels a little different now…”
