The Kremlin’s foreign policy advisor in Russia, Yuri Ushakovwho took part in the International Forum of Primakov Lectures in Moscow, referred to the situation in the Gaza Strip.
Ushakov stated that “tragic” events are taking place in Ukraine Gaza Strip.
“Even if Hamas is destroyed and the Gaza Strip drowns in blood, Israel’s security cannot be guaranteed. After a while, hatred and terrorism could flare up again. This should not be ignored,” said the senior Russian official, who said the conflict in the region has the ability to grow and spread.
Alluding to US policy in the Palestinian conflict, Ushakov said that “the region is once again in flames due to the destructive policies of the US and the attempt by the Americans to solve the Palestinian issue on their own.”
“The bloody scenario of the Israeli-Palestinian issue was predictable. The US policy of supporting one side and solving the problem alone led to a serious crisis. “These tragic events and the catastrophic humanitarian situation are causing the United States and the West to lose their moral authority,” he added.
