The two-week seminar was attended by doctors, scientists and nurses from Argentina, Venezuela, Mexico, Nicaragua and Cuba, who exchanged experiences on the mechanisms that can be used to care for pregnant women and newborns.
The director of the health facility, Dr. Gennady Tikhonovich, at the closing ceremony of the course, thanked the participants for their trust in the professionalism of their experts and added the desire to expand this initiative to other Latin American countries.

The Cuban doctor argued: “Russia has a mother-child program very similar to ours. However, we still need to learn from the things they are good at and the things we need, and that is one of the benefits we get from this seminar, which was attended by top academics.”
This initiative of the Russian Center for Medicine, Science and Education further consolidates the political and humanitarian determination of the government of the Eurasian giant to combine efforts in all areas with the countries of Latin America and the Caribbean to ensure the health of their populations.
