Russia attacks Ukrainian ammunition depots in Zaporozhye

MOSCOW, Dec 5 (Portal) – Russia today shelled ammunition depots, military equipment and firing positions of the Ukrainian army in the Kyiv-controlled areas of Zaporozhye, Deputy Governor Vladimir Rogov said.

As Rogov published on his Telegram channel on Monday, sirens and explosions could be heard for several hours in the center of the city of Zaporozhye, which was temporarily occupied by the Vladimir Zelensky regime.

The official added that the final targets of the missiles and drones are military equipment, artillery ammunition depots, firing positions and critical infrastructure in the city of Zaporozhye.

Earlier, the secretary of the Kyiv-controlled Zaporozhye City Council Anatoly Kartev said that objects of the city’s industrial and energy infrastructure were being attacked.

Since February 24, Russia has been conducting a special military operation in south-eastern Ukraine to protect the civilian population of Donbass from repeated attacks by the Ukrainian authorities. (Text and photo: PL)
