Moscow, April 28.- The Russian Defense Ministry reported on Thursday that Russian anti-aircraft units repelled the attack by Ukrainian forces this Wednesday using tactical missiles and high-powered rocket launcher projectiles aimed at residential areas in the center of the part city of Kherson in southern Ukraine .
According to military unit spokesman Igor Konashénkov, about 12 rocket launchers and two Tochka-U tactical missiles were fired by Ukrainian forces.
Part of the unachieved goals are several objects of civilian infrastructure, including kindergartens, schools of institutions of social importance, added the spokesman, who described the attack as an indiscriminate war crime and a violation of international humanitarian law.
Elsewhere in the country, specifically in the eastern Kharkov region, Russian anti-aircraft defenses intercepted a Tochka-U missile in the town of Izium aimed at a hospital where a Russian medical team is treating the local population.
During the night, Russian Aerospace Forces launched missile attacks on two concentration areas for personnel and military equipment, as well as two arms and ammunition depots in the Kharkov region.
Similarly, in the last day, the aircraft of this military branch destroyed 67 Ukrainian military targets, including six command posts, two fortifications, two weapons and fuel depots and 55 concentration points for troops and equipment, neutralizing more than 300 soldiers and up to 40 vehicles.
