Russian forces have recorded the presence of at least five US-made Abrams tanks near Avdéyevka, adviser to the head of the Donetsk People's Republic Igor Kimakovski said on Wednesday.
Monitoring of all movements and actions of Ukrainian armed formations near the line of contact showed that there are at least five Abrams tanks near Avdéyevka, the official stated on his Telegram channel on Wednesday.
Kimakovski reported the day before that Russian troops had destroyed an ammunition and weapons stockpile of Ukrainian troops near the village of Orlovka in the direction of Avdeyevka.
On the same day, the Russian Defense Ministry confirmed the first destruction of an Abrams tank in the area of the special military operation on the Avdéyevka Front.
