Trudeau paid respects to Ukrainian troops killed in the war, laid a wreath at a memorial and spoke to Ukrainian, Canadian and Canadian soldiers Ukrainian media reported. Canada has donated approximately US$6 billion (CAN$8 billion) to Ukraine in support of the war effort and displaced civilians.
