RT Russia will not supply oil to the world market if oil prices are curtailed, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said on Wednesday.
The senior official explained: “If these prices […] lower than the cost of oil production, of course, Russia will not supply this oil to world markets.” “We simply will not operate at a loss,” he stressed.

Novak’s comments come amid attempts by the West to dampen the price of Russian oil. It was recently reported that members of the G7 group are close to an agreement to cap the amount of money Moscow can make for each barrel it sells on the world market.
