Russian state television simulates nuclear attack: “In Paris, London and Berlin no survivors in 200 seconds”

Russian state television broadcast a simulation to show what would happen if Wladimir Putin interjected Nuclear attack on three European capitals, in which he stated that “there would be no survivors”, in response to comments by the British Armed Forces Secretary in support of the Ukrainian attacks on Russian infrastructure. The hosts of Channel One’s 60 Minutes program have announced that the cities of London, Paris and Berlin would be hit by nuclear missile launches in less than 200 seconds.

The simulation of state television

In Thursday’s broadcast, Rodina nationalist party leader Aleksey Zhuravlyov reflected on what would happen if Russia launched nuclear weapons at the UK, declaring: “One Sarmat missile would be enough and the British Isles would be gone .” Pausing at one of the hosts’ comment, he insisted he was “seriously saying it”, while another host added that Britain also has nuclear weapons and that “nobody will survive this war”.

The show’s producers then showed viewers a map detailing the trajectory and timing with which the Sarmat, Russia’s new ICBM, launched from Kaliningrad (the Russian enclave between Poland, Lithuania and the Baltic Sea) marked major capitals would achieve.
