Russian tycoon Anton Cherepennikov, a technology entrepreneur, was found dead in his office in Moscow on Saturday (22) at the age of 40. The information comes from the Chron.
What happened:
Russian media reported that the businessman died of cardiac arrest.but a friend of his suspected that he was murdered.
“I can’t believe Cherepennikov died of cardiac arrest”explained the friend, identified as Vasily Polonsky, calling for an investigation into the death of the tycoon.
It is expected that the Russian authorities will conduct further tests on Anton’s body to determine the businessman’s cause of death.
Cherepennikov was the head of ICS Holding. He was responsible for establishing a tech conglomerate in the country that would allegedly be used to track internet users in Russia.
The businessman was also the owner of most of the systems for intercepting and storing Internet traffic in Russia.
Anton Cherepennikov was on the list of Russian figures subject to US sanctions.
