Rust Floods Drone and CCTV Frequencies – NoFrag – NoFrag

The Rust developers have just unveiled the contents of their latest update in a new trailer. A program entirely in “remote control” since we see the addition of a remote-controlled drone, the possibility of blowing up the C4 with a remote control or adding surveillance cameras to its fortress.

The drone is very fragile, also depends on the computer station and therefore has a limited range. It can be used almost anywhere, but also retrieved for later reuse. You can now assign a transmission frequency to the C4 in order to be able to trigger it remotely using the remote control. The C4 you drop outside of your base area will automatically disappear after 24 hours. Also note that it can be picked up by your opponents. To control all this, surveillance cameras are available. You can even watch them on your smartphone to spy on your friends when you are at work! Even automatic turrets can now be controlled by players.

Several adjustments are also in play. You can find all the details in the patch note published on Steam. Almost 10 years after its release on Steam, Rust remains a very popular game that continues to bring in big bucks for its developer. According to an article published in January, it is one of the Steam games that generated the most gross revenue on Steam in 2022.

PS: Now that I officially fall into the Boomer category, the title of the YouTube video accompanying this update immediately made me think of this version of Eye in The Sky.
