The film industry is increasingly embracing storytelling through live action, and not just in superhero productions. Now it’s Barbie’s turn, the iconic doll launched in 1959 and accompanying more than a generation of young people. Rumor has it that Ryan Gosling would be responsible for bringing Ken to life as he has already been spotted on the street with one see very different and platinum hair.

Recently, paparazzi cameras caught Gosling on the street looking relaxed in casual clothes and a beanie, but the cute hair detail didn’t go unnoticed. The images quickly spread on social media and fans reacted emotionally.

According to media magazine Entertainment Weekly, the actor is still in negotiations to play Ken. However, the physical change would suggest that his next film role would be that of Barbie’s famous boyfriend.

The film, announced a few months ago, is directed by Greta Gerwig and stars Margot Robbie in the role of Barbie. The actress is best known for playing Harley Quinn in the world of DC Comics.

Likewise, Simu Liu, America Ferreira, Kate McKinnon and Alexandra Shipp will be the ones to complete this cast, which is as impressive as it is captivating. While no release date has been set, filming is known to begin shortly.

Other film roles by Ryan Gosling

Ryan Gosling’s artistic life began when he was just 12 years old. Born to a Mormon family in London, a Canadian city, he auditioned for the show The Mickey Mouse Club in Montreal and won the job. From that moment on, he belonged to the exclusive circle of Disney boys.

It was in 2000 when his name began to ring among directors. After starring in Remember the Titans alongside Denzel Washington, his popularity soared.

However, Gosling had previously worked on other productions. This is the case of Young Hercules, a series of 50 chapters in which he interprets the adventures of this young man in ancient Greece. She also wore platinum hair for this job.

However, with 2001’s The Believer, Ryan followed in the footsteps of a neo-Nazi who also happened to be Jewish. Such was his performance that the film won the Best Picture award at the Sundance Film Festival.

Later in 2004, his fame rose after his role as Noah Calhoun in The Notebook. A story in which he had a torrid romance with Rachel McAdams both on and off screen.

Notable for his performance in 2017’s La La Land, Ryan played Sebastian Wilder, a musician who made a living playing the piano in the jazz standards at a restaurant where no one listens to him as he dreams of reopening mythical club.
