Ryan Hartman signs contract extension with Wild

Ryan Hartman signed a three-year contract extension with the Minnesota Wild on Saturday.

The attacker steals an average of $4 million per year.

General Manager Bill Guerin is busy these days. Last week he extended the contracts of strikers Mats Zuccarello and Marcus Foligno.

The first signed a two-year contract worth a total of $8.25 million, while the second received a new four-year contract and $16 million.

Hartman is coming off the two most productive seasons of his career, coinciding with his position switch from wing to center.

In the 2021-22 season, he set personal highs in goals (34) and assists (31). Last year he scored 37 points in 59 games.

He is expected to play alongside Zuccarello and Kirill Kaprizov again next season.

Colin White wins his bet

Elsewhere in the NHL, forward Colin White won his bet by earning a one-year contract with the Pittsburgh Penguins.

The agreement is in two parts.

The 26-year-old American, who was on probation at the Pennsylvania team’s camp, played for the Florida Panthers last season and collected 15 points, including eight goals, in 68 games.

In the 2015 draft, he was selected 21st overall by the Ottawa Senators. Often injured, he never started with the “Sens”.
