This was announced by the daily newspaper “Ottawa Sun” on Monday evening. The partners are also aiming to build a new amphitheater in downtown the federal capital, more specifically on LeBreton Flats.

The process of purchasing the “Sens” would be led by Christopher Bratty, President of the Remington Group. The plan also sees Reynolds leading the organization of the National Hockey League (NHL) as he is Welsh football club Wrexham AFC.

During the last meeting of NHL governors, Commissioner Gary Bettman specifically mentioned that the 46-year-old actor’s huge popularity on social media means he can help raise his circuit’s profile on the world stage.

However, Reynolds and his new partner would not be alone in the race for senators. According to the Ottawa Suns, Toronto billionaires Jeffrey and Michael Kimel and the owner of the Hamilton Bulldogs in the OHL, Michael Andlauer, have also expressed interest in taking over this organization.
