Also this year, Peace Light will be available for distribution on December 24th, from 8:30 am to 4 pm, in Nottendorfer Gasse.
Vienna (OTS) – In a time marked by global crises, the importance of hope and human warmth takes on a special place. The Light of Peace, which also traveled from Bethlehem to Austria this year, symbolizes exactly that – a ray of hope in the midst of darkness.
At Vienna Central Station, the ORF Peace Light will be taken over by a dedicated volunteer from the Vienna Red Cross and will be available for collection from the Vienna Red Cross on December 24th from 8:30 am. Anyone who wants to bring the idea of peace and warmth to their home can get the light here. This long-standing tradition takes on added importance in times of global challenges. The spreading of the Light of Peace becomes a symbol of solidarity and humanity.
A sign of festive joy and, above all, recognition for the commitment and service of Red Cross employees during the Christmas holidays. In the midst of challenges and uncertainty, it is more important than ever to spread hope and warmth.
We cordially invite you to stop by and seek the Light of Peace with us:
