The 2023 yearend vignette premieres today on the Globo program

This Friday (1st), during the break of the soap opera “Terra e Paixão”, Globo’s endofyear message will premiere.

Microphones, lights, cameras lots of cameras. It looks like a television recording, but if you look closely, it’s not quite that. Because this meeting is much more like a Christmas party: the decorated house, the family, the brothers.

“In a way it’s almost a return to childhood. Or into youth and many years gone by,” enthuses Marcos Palmeira.

It is a moment in which the biggest stars of Brazilian television go back in time and have fun like children. The music conjures up: “Today is a new day, a new time has begun.”

“We don’t lose the spark in our eyes when it comes to doing it. When we arrive here it feels like it’s the first time,” says actor Samuel de Assis.

If even those who are used to this environment are enchanted, imagine those who were actually here for the first time.

“The whole family came together. They always came over during program breaks, so I have a very nostalgic memory. I’ve already taken several selfies with the people there. My mother didn’t believe me when I said that.” with Susana Vieira. She didn’t believe me, I wanted to send a video of her saying hello,” says rapper Xamã.

“They showed everything that I represented in their lives, which was their mother watching me on the soap operas. Oh, mom: Look, I’m with him,” laughs Susana Vieira.

If the joy comes from childhood, the mess reminds us of school days.

“Guys, I’m going to eliminate everyone who plays up there!” jokes the director.

There are many actors but no characters. Everyone brings their true smile.

“And hope. That’s what we can’t let die for heaven’s sake,” asks actress and singer Dhu Moraes.

“With this campaign we always try to convey a playful look, a happy look at everything that comes. The idea is to create an inspiring campaign that inspires Brazilians. That next year, 2024, we can all make our dreams come true “on air,” emphasizes Leonora Bardini, program and marketing director at Globo.

It’s the only time of year when so many Globo talents are in the same place at the same time. To accommodate this constellation, a grandiose setup is always set up, but this time the guests didn’t fit into the studio. That’s because the party is more yours than ever and the scene spans all of Brazil.

In 2023, the embassy will take place in public for the first time. Globo has been asking for suggestions throughout the year. Responses were received online and the main ideas were selected and published along with the name of the person who sent them.

“More and more of a dialogue, right? Globo has always played a role in being a reflection of society, but today more and more in being shaped by it. Talking, but listening a lot more. And this piece brings this concept to where we listen to the ideas of Brazilians,” says Manuel Falcão, Director of Brand and Communication at Globo.

What we really wanted was to include you in our party, which just so happens to have lights, cameras and action. Otherwise, it’s like a party at your house. With technology, affection and heart, families on both sides of the screen are increasingly coming together.
