“The Gripen is not more expensive than the F35, on the contrary! Based on all publicly available data, it is clear that the acquisition cost of the F35 is up to 100% higher than that of the Gripen, with operating costs two to three times higher than that of the Swedish fighter. In addition, the Gripen has a robust electronic warfare system that ensures freedom of movement and action even in heavily defended airspace.
The Gripen also has the most extensive armament of any fighter aircraft currently available on the market. Its unique avionics architecture allows for rapid adaptation and improvement in all aspects of the aircraft, resulting in economics and superior operational capabilities. Gripen remains the best choice for the air forces of Brazil, Sweden and many other countries.”
