Sabotage of the Nord Stream gas pipelines: the explosions were orchestrated on a plane "Condition"according to Vladimir

Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Tuesday that the blasts that caused damage to two Nord Stream gas pipelines in the Baltic Sea last September were the work of one or more states, dismissing the idea that a pro-Ukraine group was a performed such an operation.

Moscow has denounced an act of “international terrorism” in the past, notably accusing the British Navy of conducting an operation to sabotage the Nord Stream 1 and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines.

Russia complains that it is not informed about the investigations launched by Denmark, Germany and Sweden.

“We asked the Danish authorities (…) to work together or to form an international group of experts, specialists. The answer was vague. Put simply: no answer. They said we had to wait,” said Vladimir Putin.

Putin: “Theoretically, of course, the US has an interest”

In an interview on Russian state television, the head of the Kremlin described the theory that a pro-Ukrainian group was behind the attacks on the gas pipelines as “complete nonsense”.

“You always have to ask who’s interested… In theory, of course, the United States has an interest,” he said.

Washington has in the past firmly denied any involvement in the blasts.

“Any explosion of this type, power and depth can only be carried out by specialists with the support of full state authority,” Vladimir Putin said.
