Salma Hayek shows her special way of eating shrimp

No matter where she is, Salma Hayek has rooted her Mexican roots well, and gastronomy is one of the ways the actress has found to rekindle her love for Mexico.

When she’s in her home country, the actress enjoys the dishes she grew up with and the original way they’re prepared, like the shrimp she recently tasted during her recent visit to Veracruz.

Accompanied by lemon juice, the actress showcased the particular way shrimp are eaten in her country by revealing that the crustacean is eaten whole.

“In my native Veracruz, we’re taught not to waste any part of the shrimp, so we eat the heads, too,” the international star admitted.

In the picture she posted, Salma Hayek is holding the shrimp in her hands and sucking on the inside of the head.

As always, the actress accompanied her dish with an ice-cold beer, served in a glass.
