According to a video posted on TikTok, Salt Bae allegedly appeared at a customer’s table to cut meat while he was on a phone call with headphones in his ears. “He charged $600 to come to our table and cut our meat while talking to someone on his AirPods,” said the guy who took the video. Behavior defined as “super disrespectful”.
“I cannot recommend your restaurant. Waste of money and rude staff,” the boy concluded. The TikTok video reached 13 million views and thousands of comments attacking the Turkish butcher.
