Sam Asghari has just released some behind-the-scenes information about his fiancee Britney Spears’ pregnancy. The excited dad-to-be sat down with Access Daily’s Mario Lopez on Wednesday to discuss details of the upcoming birth.

When Lopez asked him if he wanted to find out the baby’s gender, Asghari replied, “It’s up to her, but I don’t want to [know]. I want to wait for that.”
While Asghari wants to keep some things a secret, he has an inkling of what kind of father he will be. “As much as possible to touch. This is my baby, my first baby,” he told Lopez. “If it’s a daughter it’ll be the most spoiled princess ever, if it’s a son it’ll be the toughest son — I’ll be tough on the kid.”
Spears, the mother of 16-year-old Sean and 15-year-old Jayden, broke the big news that she’s expecting a baby on Instagram. The singer posted a lengthy message earlier this month taking fans through her journey of discovering her pregnancy.
“I lost so much weight to go on my Maui trip only to gain it back 🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️…I was like, ‘Gosh…what happened to my stomach? ??’ My husband said ‘No you’re pregnant stupid 🤪 !!!’ So I took a pregnancy test,” she explained, adding, “and uhhhhh… I’m having a baby 👶🏼…”
Then Spears shared some honest, open words about her past pregnancy experiences and the depression she was going through. “I have to say it’s absolutely awful 😔,” she wrote. “…women didn’t talk about it back then…some people thought it was dangerous for a woman with a baby inside her to complain like that.” Luckily, the pop star noted, things have changed since then and this time she has to make hers Don’t suppress feelings. “Thank God we don’t have to keep this pain to ourselves,” Spears said.
Asghari also shared his excitement at the news on Instagram, posting a cute drawing of two lions cradling their cub. “Fatherhood is something I have always looked forward to and do not take lightly,” he wrote. “This is the most important job I will ever do🙏.”
