Samsung’s Galaxy S23s are the subject of numerous leaks: The technical data sheet of the Galaxy S23 and S23 Plus has been published by a “leaker”. We discover some new features and in particular the arrival of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.

The French release of the Samsung Galaxy S23 makes it clearer: after the prices of all Samsung’s next flagships, it is their technical data sheets that have been leaked. More specifically, these are the Galaxy S23 and S23 Plus, the sheets of which were released by billbil-kun on Twitter, after the release of the Galaxy S23 Ultra by WinFuture. Be careful though, some technical specifications are preliminary and may differ from those of the final versions of Samsung smartphones.
Faster wireless charging than the Galaxy S22
The dimensions of the Galaxy S23 would be 70.9 x 146.3 x 7.6mm with a weight of 167g. For the “Plus” version, they would be 76.2 x 157.8 x 7.6mm for a weight of 195g.
The screen of the vanilla version of the Samsung model would be a 6.1-inch Full HD+ Amoled panel with a 120Hz refresh rate with an adaptive mode that can go down to 48Hz. The Galaxy S23 Plus would be entitled to a 6.6-inch panel with a lower resolution (393 vs. 495 dpi).

The battery of Galaxy S23 would be 3900mAh capacity, which could be wired and 10W wireless charging with a maximum output of 25W. The Galaxy S23 Plus would be slightly better equipped with a 4700mAh capacity battery that can be wirelessly charged up to 45W or 10W like the Galaxy S23 Ultra.
The arrival of Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 on the Galaxy S23
We know that we will be entitled to Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 on Samsung smartphones in France and it is almost certain that this will be the next Galaxy S23. A SoC that we have been able to test and that seems to have stood the test of time. On the performance side, there would be 8GB of RAM in LPDDR5; Storage would be 128 or 256GB for the Galaxy S23 and 256 or 512GB for the Galaxy S23 Plus.

To run all this, these new smartphones would come with the One UI 5.1 interface based on Android 13. Another novelty: the arrival of Wi-Fi 6E, although this is not guaranteed for the Galaxy S23. The “Plus” version would also be eligible for UWB. Bluetooth would also evolve, moving from version 5.2 to version 5.3.
The same photo sensors between Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S22
The Galaxy S23 would be entitled to several photo sensors which appear to be the same as the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22 Plus, namely:
- A main sensor from 50 Mpx (f / 1.8);
- A 12 Mpx ultra wide-angle sensor (120° FOV, f/2.2);
- A 10 Mpx X3 telephoto lens (f/2.4);
- A 12 Mpx selfie sensor (f/2.2).
