Samsung’s T9 Portable Solid State Drive Delivers Exceptional Performance and Data Reliability for Professionals – Samsung

Samsung Electronics, a global leader in advanced storage technologies, today announced the release of its newest T-Series product line, the T9 Portable Solid State Drive (SSD). With its slim, portable design, the T9 is designed to protect data on the go, giving users fast transfer speeds and ample storage while providing the reliability and convenience they need.

Superior performance and massive storage capacity

The T9 offers a maximum sequential read and write speed of 2,000 megabytes per second (MB/s) via the USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 interface. These speeds are about twice as fast as the previous T7 model and allow users to transfer a 4 gigabyte (GB) Full HD video in about two seconds.

The T9 is available in three different capacity options to suit user needs. With 1 terabyte (TB), 2 TB and 4 TB options, the T9 enables fast and frequent transfers while providing enough storage capacity for large amounts of data. Its compact size, similar to a credit card, allows creatives to take their inspiration with them on the go.

The T9 not only offers functional advantages, but also a unique design. The curved diagonal lines and inverted carbon patterns on the surface of the T9 make the rubber feel like fabric to the user, like a luxury wallet.

Firmware update is a very important function for storage products, and Magician software helps solve problems on the spot. With the new version 8.0 released in September 2023, Samsung software such as data migration software, PSSD software and card authentication tool will be integrated into the Magician software. Additionally, Magician 8.0 is now compatible with Windows, Mac and Android operating systems.
