The technical term of the profession is “nail technician” and whoever practices it is a “nail artist“.
For the uninitiated, the translation is “nail specialist”, but in our case she is really an artist because she came to work for the “Nailympia competition“and win several races.
Linda Roda25 years Santa Maria Hoehe is still struggling to believe in this victory, because it was not expected, but now that he has the medals in his hands, he understands if the effort, commitment and passion expressed in many years of study and of dedication have brought their results.
Graduated beautician attended the makeup academy, then worked in the field of fashion and fashion shows, devoting herself to care and “decoration”. They are small masterpieces with designs, embellishments, frets, symbols, created together with the nail itself in a small space, but with a truly amazing effect.
Linda started the journey to perfecting herself in this art, which is a profession for her, with her teacher Deborah Cocco, who started the journey in December to prepare 9 young people to represent Italy in this world-class competition, which took place in the past few weeks Dusseldorf in Germany.
Linda with Deborah Cocco
“I competed with the Deco team, led by Deborah Coco that she is a professional in the industry,” explained Linda, still thrilled with the experience and the results she brought home. It was a very prestigious event and the level of the jury is very high. I’ve been training every free minute since December, creating nails according to certain parameters: time, proportions, product management, architecture, … At the competition there were structural creations, timed competitions with the same parameters for everyone, challenges that often but also precision and speed. It was really very tough: I was also very anxious because there were moments when I heard the challengers already in the submission phase while I was still preparing the product. I didn’t expect positive results until the end, but…”.
