Undoubtedly one of the pioneers of the professioninfluencers In Quebec, after almost ten years in business, Sarah Couture is still very successful on social networks.

“I’m a fossil!” she says, laughing.

“The term influencer didn’t even exist when I started my blog. [Les trouvailles de Sarah]. I never would have thought that I would do what I am doing today,” admits the bachelor’s graduate of public communication, which offers fashion finds and beauty tips on its platforms, among other things.

At the head of his company

Sarah Couture was a finalist on the 2012 show “Occupation Double” and ran her own business. She’s also a mother to a two-year-old girl and says she’s proud of the progress she’s made. She has even had a full-time assistant for almost six years.

“I have not denatured myself […] I started out shopping, I took pictures of myself in the shacks with my finds, and I still remember it to this day, but it’s evolved,” she says. To that end, she turns down requests from brands or advertisers who want to work with her on an almost daily basis if they don’t represent her. “In my opinion, anyone who accepts everything loses their credibility,” says the 34-year-old influencer.

In the next few years, Sarah Couture, who has recently designed handbags in collaboration with the Quebec company Lambert, wants to launch her own brand, without specifying in which area yet.

“It’s a dream I’ve had for a long time. I encourage others and I like that, but why not do my own things? says the entrepreneur, who shares her everyday life with around 388,000 people on social networks.
