Sarah Jessica Parker’s three children on the carpet

Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick were spotted on the red carpet for their Broadway play Plaza Suite directed by Neil Simon which debuted in New York City on Monday.

But it was also a family affair, as the actors’ three children also did the play and took the time to pose on the red carpet beforehand, which is very rare for them.

Their eldest child, son James Wiklie, 19, was alongside his twin sisters Marion Loretta and Tabitha Hodge, 12.

James looked handsome in a black suit and tie while Loretta modeled a pink dress and Tabitha wore a black leather dress.

And it looks like Sarah’s mini-me daughters are wearing shoes from her eponymous line: Loretta in a Mary Jane design in silver and Tabitha in pink kitten heels.

Sarah looked stunning in her pink dress.

The 57-year-old actress simply shone in a gorgeous pink Prabal Rana Gurung gown covered in glittering silver stars for the opening night on West 44th Street in Midtown Manhattan.

Parker and Broderick star as three different couples in the three-act comedy directed by John Benjamin Hickey, which took place on 13/19 just as the global pandemic began to rise.

SJP was thrilled to show off her dazzling gown which included a silky pink gown draped to the floor with thick straps across her shoulders and cinched at her waist.

Her arms were covered with a glittering, translucent silver cape adorned with sparkling sequins and beads, with pleated elements along the neckline that gracefully cascaded to the floor.

Sarah Jessica let her designer dress take center stage as she pulled her dark blonde hair back into a tight updo created by Serge Normant.

Makeup artist Elaine Offers Woulard emphasized Parker’s already flawless complexion, focusing on her piercing blue eyes with a smoky shadow, rosy blush and bold brows.

Parker teased on Instagram ahead of the big event, “Just wait ’til you see the front. No words at the moment. I am sure they will come later. See you in suite 719.”

Matthew, 60, looked just as dapper in a dark brown suit with white buttons and a green tie.

Their game may have gotten off to a rocky start as they were put on a two-year hiatus due to COVID-19, but they are both ready to get back on stage.

“We are thrilled to finally welcome Broadway audiences to the Hudson Theater to see Neil Simon’s celebration of New York, New Yorkers and the wonderful way they fall in love. We can’t wait,” Broderick and Parker said in a joint statement.

The Plaza Suite revival first began in February, with sneak previews garnering positive reviews almost four decades after the original show premiered at the Plymouth Theater on February 14, 1968.

The original show received three Tony nominations, won Best Direction for a Play for the work of Mike Nichols, and played 1,097 performances before ending on October 3, 1970.

Describing the new show, Playbill said, “Real-life couple Broderick and Parker play three different twosomes, each spending an evening at the famed Plaza Hotel: a couple who are 24 years apart, and the frenzied parents of a nervous bride on their wedding day.” ‘
