She won Best Actress in a Drama Television Series at the Golden Globes on Sunday for her role in “Succession.”
And Sarah Snook's former acting teacher isn't at all surprised when she explains that the Australian star was always destined to be a star.
Nicola Trig, who has known Sarah since she was 11 and is still friends with her, appeared on Sunrise on Tuesday to recall the Adelaide-born beauty's early days as an actress.
'I thought [she was a star] “The moment I saw her,” said Nicola.
Trig described Sarah as “small and nervous” when they first met and said her explosive talent emerged the moment she stepped into the role.

“When she played a character of any kind, she could just live in that character and you were transfixed,” she explained.
Trig also commented off-screen about Sarah's famously down-to-earth nature.
“I have known her since I was 11 and from then on, throughout her professional life, she has always been a really serious, open, humble and honest person,” she said.
“She never changed and was always exactly the same.”
Nicola first met Sarah when she started at Scotch College in Adelaide after winning a scholarship.

She said Sarah impressed her classmates and teachers alike with her intelligence, focus and commitment to hard work.
Sarah won Best Actress in a Television Series at the Golden Globes for her portrayal of political strategist and media heiress Siobhan “Shiv” Roy in the HBO series “Succession.”
She beat the likes of Emma Stone (The Curse), Imelda Staunton (The Crown), Helen Mirren (1923), Kerri Russell (The Diplomat) and Bella Ramsey (The Last of Us) in her category.
“This show changed my life,” Snook said in her acceptance speech, before thanking her cast and crewmates.

“It was a team effort, that’s what always made the show so great.”
She ended her speech with a laugh: “This room is so intimidating!” before running off stage.
Her win was announced at a star-studded ceremony at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles on Sunday.
