One of her upcoming projects is an Apple TV+ show Schmigadoon!, also produced by Michaels.

In September 2021, Strong shared a heartfelt social post as she reunited with her co-stars in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic.

She gave a special shout out to Kenan Thompson, 44, who recently hosted the People’s Choice Awards.

On the heels of the Atlanta-born comic, who won two Emmys, she wrote on Instagram, “Kenan Thompson is an amazing human of all time and there is no one who can do what he does in front of and behind the camera.

“I’m excited to celebrate everyone in and out of all the awards rooms – but he’s a king and I’m so damn lucky to have had the privilege of working alongside him for so many years.”

The show has seen a notable exodus of artists throughout the year, including Pete Davidson.

Others including Kate McKinnon, Aidy Bryant and Kyle Mooney left the comedy show in May with new names, while Marcello Hernández, Molly Kearney, Michael Longfellow and Devon Walker joined the weekly production.

New on-air talent this season includes Molly Kearney, the show’s first non-binary cast member to use she/she pronouns.

Last September, Michaels assured fans that despite the long-running variety program’s upcoming 50th and his 78th birthdays, he has no plans to quit.
