Zombies that hunt passers-by and bite their victims with their teeth. No, it’s not a horror film, it’s Green Day’s new music video. Transformed into the living dead, Billie Joe Armstrong and his group perform “The American Dream Is Killing Me,” the first cut from her next album, the release date of which has just been announced.

The trio’s 14th work, called Saviors, will be released on January 19, 2024.
“Saviors is an invitation to delve into the brain of Green Day, into their collective mind as a band and understand the friendship, culture and legacy of the last 30 years,” describes the punk rock group on their various social networks.
What themes are covered in this new album? “Disease, war, inequality, influencers, yoga retreats, alt-right, dating apps, masks, mental health, climate change, oligarchs, social media division, free marijuana, fentanyl, fragility…” Green Day lists in one Message on Instagram.
Remember that Green Day is the headliner of the Gray Cup halftime show, which will take place on November 19th in Hamilton, Ontario.
