After more than a year of “courting” with SBT, Michelle Barros was finally officially hired by broadcaster Silvio Santos. In the afternoon of this Thursday (26), she was announced as a reinforcement of the cast and member of the new electronic magazine that will be released in 2024 and will be directed by Regina Volpato.

“I am extremely happy to be part of this project that fulfills my dreams! All the more so because it takes place in such an openminded house that has always welcomed me with great affection and believes in my work! “I just have to say thank you SBT and let’s get to work!” she said in a statement to the press.

Michelle has been on SBT’s radar since she left Globo in May last year. She has already had two specific jobs at the station, including taking part in the latest edition of Bake Off Celebrities and also as presenter of SBT Folia, this year’s carnival show.

Michelle’s name has already been a given in the lineup since SBT released the list of artists who will be present at this year’s telethon. All confirmed celebrities have been divided into columns. And the journalist, like Eliana and Celso Portiolli, was on the station’s employee list. For example, Regina Volpato’s name appears in the Guests column.

Speaking of Volpato, his name is expected to be announced very soon. She was the first presenter to negotiate with SBT to manage the project for the new electronic magazine and even provided ideas for the proper functioning of the format, but the contract has not yet been signed.

However, it is good to say that she has been visiting SBT constantly, was there this week too, and is likely to be the next whose name will be announced in the cast that will form the presenting trio for the new project. Let’s wait. She has fans, inside and outside the station. All that’s missing is the official announcement.
