According to local police, a gunman broke into a school in Iowa, USA, on Thursday (4) and shot students and teachers. According to officials, there are victims of the attack.
The North American portal ABC reports, citing police sources, that one person has died. Police have not officially confirmed any deaths.
Iowa's capital will host the first vote among Republican Party voters on Jan. 15 to choose the party's candidate for president former President Donald Trump is the favorite .
Republican primary candidates like Ron de Santis, Trump's main rival in the party, were already in Des Moines this Thursday.
Images on social media showed dozens of police officers surrounding the school and helicopters flying over the building.
