The school service center in Coeur-des-Vallées has decided to close all primary and secondary schools and daycare centers.
However, vocational and adult education centers remain open.

Environment Canada has issued heat warnings for certain areas of southwestern Quebec, particularly in Outaouais, where “very hot and humid weather is expected in the coming days.”
The dry, hot and fairly sunny weather will continue through at least Wednesday, with temperatures continuing to rise, before a possible cold front expected Thursday, according to federal forecasts.
