According to the source, the “rumors” about Ariana and Scooter’s ending of their business relationship are false — the source claims that the pair did indeed enter into new contract negotiations as the executive accepted a new role as CEO of record at label Hybe America.
“Negotiations have been going on for several months” as Scooter focuses less on customer support and more on “his larger role as CEO of Hybe America,” the source told .
“People spread rumors based on what they know – but they’re wrong,” they explained.
“Scooter’s team at SB Projects are still looking after Justin and Ariana as they work out what this new structure will look like.”
Scooter joined forces with Hybe – the South Korean entertainment conglomerate behind K-pop group BTS – in 2021 and was then appointed CEO of the Americas division.
A separate source told that Ariana signed Hybe on a five-year deal just a month ago.
