“New Math” is tricky! Scott Disick is just like us – he miserably fails to explain complex math problems to his children.
“In math class when I don’t know what’s going on and I come home and my dad knows less than what’s going on,” Penelope commented on a TikTok video on Friday, Sept. 2, with the Flip It Like Disick- alum, 39
In the social media shots is the 10-year-old – who Disick shares with ex Kourtney Kardashian along with sons Mason, 12, and Reign, 7 – and their dad teamed up in the kitchen to dub a viral audio clip that says, “I don’t know what’s going on and I just don’t want to know.” “

Penelope wore a peachy Care Bear shirt while holding a #2 pencil in one hand and a pad of paper in the other. For his part, Disick wore a pink hoodie while attempting to complete one of her assignments with a pencil of his own.
While the elementary school student – who shares her TikTok account with the 43-year-old Poosh founder – didn’t elaborate further on the hard-to-understand math lesson, she is likely referring to a unit in Common Core math – aka “new.” Mathematics.” Beginning in 2010, academic bodies have restandardized the teaching of mathematics to children to facilitate conceptual understanding for future real-world applications.
While the Keeping Up With the Kardashians alum – who recently started dating Kimberly Stewart — may not be a math pro, but he is a devoted father.
“All Scott talks about is his kids. … He always gets them talking when he’s not physically with them,” a source told Us Weekly exclusively in December 2021. “He’s definitely a very good father and he cares and loves her so much. … He wants to be a good example to them.”
Disick previously dated Kardashian on and off between 2006 and 2015, and since then they have focused on raising their three children together.
“The truth is, my issues shouldn’t affect the kids,” the New York native previously told Us in June 2019. “Just because her mom and I couldn’t make it as the perfect romantic couple, doesn’t mean doing anything with the kids should be a part of it. They don’t deserve our mistakes, so we found a way. We still have to be as honest and as good to each other as if we were together. Let’s raise these kids together and that’s it.”
He continued: “We live a few miles apart and it’s easy. … The fact that we’ve tried and made it work makes life so much better. I couldn’t imagine raising three kids with someone I couldn’t talk to every day.”
While Disick has moved on with Stewart, 43, Kardashian has gotten married Travis Barker in May.
