Scott Hall’s best friends in wrestling gather as he is laid to rest

The death of legendary WWE Hall of Famer Scott Hall came as a shock to the entire pro wrestling community. Over the years he has made tremendous contributions to sports entertainment and brought some unforgettable moments to fans. He was finally buried on Friday.

Scott Hall’s son Cody Hall shared on Instagram that his father’s funeral was held on Friday. Other names present at the funeral included Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Sean Waltman, Diamond Dallas Page and Kevin Nash.

“We buried my father yesterday. And I think it was the final step in that process, but it still feels like I’m going through a ton,” Hall’s son wrote.

“It wasn’t always easy being my father’s son, in fact it felt really hard at times, he was tough at times. But it feels different now, not carrying my burden, but my torch to carry on. A legacy of a legend. It feels like he’s with me now. The whole world feels different now. I feel so different now,” he continued.

In the heartwarming post, Cody Hall spoke about the memories he shared with his father and it was very clear from his words how hard her early death had hit her.

“Death is part of the cycle of life, and my father lives through me.

And so many memories live forever in my mind and heart now, all the sayings he had, all the looks on his face, how he went fishing together, how he beat up Shaggy – “It wasn’t me” to all of us Waking up for school tomorrow and thinking George Foreman turkey burgers are a delicacy, we sing country songs in our driveways, that spot on the side of the garage we’d both pee in to see how low we can go if we wear our matching #HallGood shirts and color coordinated outfits as we see him when he was ON, how he could light up and flip a switch and be the best person anyone could ever meet

He was my best friend, he taught me everything I know. And I will never forget it.”

He ended his post and wrote: “I love you dad”

One of the biggest stars of the ’90s, Hall was known for his incredible performances against Shawn Michaels and Sean Waltman – and as part of the NWO alongside Hulk Hogan and Kevin Nash. The void he left can never be filled. He will forever be remembered as the best that ever did.
