Sarah-Jeanne Labrosse is back with four new episodes of her series “spaces», which democratizes great architectural projects on the Vrai platform.
The actress and presenter who shone in the last “Bye Bye” revisits magnificent residences designed by architects and designers. The program does not only consist of visits by the owner, as we meet the residents and the professionals who have helped them create an environment – inspiring and inspirational – that suits their needs and their way of life.
For this new release, Sarah-Jeanne will first travel to Halifax, Nova Scotia and the Acadian Peninsula, New Brunswick, with the team even visiting Toronto, Montreal and Estrie this season. Sarah-Jeanne meets architect Omar Gandhi in Halifax. This one makes us appreciate its new nest, resolutely modern and full of wood. The black/charcoal bathroom is absolutely fabulous and we love the skylights.
She then goes to Sainte-Anne-du-Bocage in Acadia, where she is welcomed by little Nikolai, 2 years old, and by his parents Matthias, a German living in Canada, and his wife Marie-Christine. The couple renovated one of the area’s oldest residences from the ground up, while preserving its old character. It’s very authentic and warm.
As in the first season, the actress and presenter remains spontaneous in her comments, which makes the exercise even more true, even if she is at a loss for words in front of the beauty of the place. She never sees photos before she gets there. “I actually think it’s more fun discovering the real houses than doing fake ‘wows’!” she told QMI Agency.
As the Spaces adventure continues, she’d like to leave the country, casually citing Argentina, Japan and Mexico, with the fact that she’s traveled all the way to the Maritimes and Toronto for season two he says is “a first step” .
Moving again?
Passionate about architecture and design, Sarah-Jeanne draws inspiration from all of her visits. This might encourage him to remake his boxes. We followed in her other series “Passion dust” on ICI TOU.TV EXTRA, her project to renovate the house she now owns with her husband, comedian Marc-André Grondin – creator of “Espaces” – and their child Lawrence, born, shared on April 20th.
Marc-André, who is also a producer at Fair-Play, had spoken to him about the “Espaces” project even before they became a couple. The couple now want to develop another project in the neighborhood where they live, in Montreal, with the intention of “participating in the architecture” and beautifying the area. He could move in or just do it for others. Sequel follows.
A very busy woman
Sarah-Jeanne shot the second season of “Espaces” last year, but also the fourth season of “Rvolution” for TVA and the series “Les révoltés” expected this summer on Club illico, in which she gives the answers to his Friend Pier-Luc Funk. She also starred in the latest Bye Bye.
“It was loaded, it was ambitious, but in the end it all took shape. My friend also worked [il tournait «Doute raisonnable 2» pour ICI Télé et «IXE-13» pour Club illico]. We have a very good baby, we love each other, we have good agents and we had help,” said Sarah-Jeanne.
