As usual, the regular program will be interrupted to make way for celebrations and events programs on the occasion of the holidays. The growing trend of one-off series that only last one season has taken us into all sorts of worlds. The fight of Chantal Daigle, the tragedy of Mégantic and family thrillers are some examples. Some series will have sequels: Raspberry time, above all. But the annual series leaves us hanging for a few weeks. Here we are.

If we thought we could solve the mystery of the abandoned baby, then Cassandra has just led us down an unexpected path when she collapses during a final interrogation. She and her husband were sent to prison for drowning their seriously ill little Nathan. However, we can afford to doubt. We know a little more about the tragic fate of Joe and Luc’s baby. Beth’s memories come back.

Two criminals have kept the Sûreté du Québec and the Valmont police in suspense for several seasons: Tina Fournier and Marc Trempe. The first one was arrested, but that doesn’t mean she or the mafia are done with the Goulets. Marc Trempe, who has escaped from the psychiatric institution where he was being held, holds three of the Goulet sisters hostage: Marie-Louise, Marie-Christine and Marie-Paule, Francis, his lover and Gladys. After Trempe confessed to his previous murders, he collapsed. Marie-Paule, wandering through the strange house looking for a way to free the others, comes across the corpse of a decomposing victim. Clearly, this Marc Trempe is a crazy villain!

Although there were stories of violence and even horrific murders this fall, it was Gabrielle and Christophe who drew attention with their vulnerability. By nature and profession, they are used to helping those who need it. They show the strong side of their personality. But when his father Hervé, who killed his mother, requests a release hearing, the lawyer fails. Christophe also collapsed, having panic attacks and allowing the seizures he had suffered at the hands of his mother to surface. This is also annoying. Could he be succumbing to an act he tries to eradicate every day? And should we fear for Roxanne if Patrick isolates her?

This third season concludes the sweet, warm adventures of the Thomas family. We find her as the family prepares to fly to Greece. Each of the three generations will continue to overcome their challenges. The youngest gained experiences that made them doubt but made them grow. Georges and Judith became aware of the fragility of life. Despite everything, Catherine, Louis and Philippe have found composure and clarity and are all taking more responsibility for themselves. Perhaps a quiet happiness awaits her as she passes by. And maybe even Philippe will give love another chance.

Matthieu Pepper didn’t want to do too much this season. So after four seasons, the doors to the rooms of Thomas and Valère, Virginie and Marco, Lydia and Antoine, Luc and Marie-Ève, Simon and Jean-Pascal and Jean-Pierre and Carole were closed. We give them their privacy after they share everything with us. A beautiful series in which everyday life was never banal.

Several ethical questions cloud the integrity of Lamontagne, who faces quite a dilemma with the suspension of Cindy and Robert. A journalist is hot on his heels and accuses him of a conflict of interest. This comes in addition to a new investigation into possible negligence based on racism. The lack of intervention led to the mysterious death of a young man of African descent. In this investigation, HQ appears to be immersed in a very sensitive and emotional cult story. Although Penelope has returned home, Dominic cannot rejoice as his mother is dying. She herself feels that the end is near.

Several intrigues continue for a few more days. This is the case of the murder of François Grenier, a mystery whose solution allows new clues. We will also hear the contradictory statements from Élodie and Tania. The influencer Mylène Kirouac, whom Inès has agreed to defend, crosses boundaries. A new workplace intrigue at the Olympic Stadium will keep the firm’s lawyers on their toes. And we will meet a pastor and his family. The man and woman are accused of child abuse. And something new is also waiting for the couple Marie-Anne and Maxime.
