Former Chancellor Kurz recently revealed details of his private life again. But the old politician continues to deliberately avoid a topic.
Easter nests and wishes on Sunday, before that a visit to Yair Lapid, Israel’s Foreign Minister, a visit to the Western Wall in Jerusalem and visits to start-ups: Former Chancellor Sebastian Kurz visibly enjoyed life as an individual private in the past few days. Quite unlike the last few days. As the family man has always been surprisingly rare in public, he seemed to have completely disappeared from the political arena. Even their social media pages were blank for a while.
Did the former chancellor have a baby on board?
It is unknown whether his wife and son were present. According to today’s information, his son Konstatin and his partner Susanne had previously accompanied him on a trip to Dubai.
But what does Kurz really say about current developments in Austrian politics? After all, successor Karl Nehammer and his wife Katharina made negative headlines over the Cobra Libre gate. Kurz held the position from 2017 to 2019 and had to resign due to the Ibiza case. He rose again and became his own successor, but had to step down in October 2021 for the second time in two-and-a-half years.
Just before Christmas 2021, the 35-year-old announced he had a new job. In early February, he is expected to start working at a global company in Silicon Valley as a global strategist at Thiel Capital. The contract must already be signed. In the future, the former chancellor would lead a classic managerial life between San Francisco, Vienna, Germany and Switzerland, wrote the “Kronen Zeitung” at the time. Sebastian Kurz is the new co-president of the European Council for Tolerance and Reconciliation.
