Like Alan Estrada and James Cameron, Sebastián Rulli described the Titan submersible incident as “unfortunate” which resulted in the deaths of his five crew members.
As someone who enjoys extreme experiences, the 47-year-old actor also revealed if he would embark on a submarine-like expedition that would focus on seeing the remains of Titanic.
Sebastián Rulli hopes that Titan’s crew has not suffered
Sebastián Rulli, an experienced diver, shared his theory on what happened to the Titan’s passengers who disappeared at the time of the June 18 accident.
“From what I’ve just read, I think there was an implosion, they shouldn’t have suffered even half a second from it,” he said on June 22 at Despierta América’s microphone.
“At that depth and under that pressure, I don’t think there’s any way to think or feel anything. I don’t think they suffered, hopefully not,” he added.
According to the United States Coast Guard, the fatal accident happened 1,600 feet from the bow of the Titanic wreck.

Likewise, the protagonist of soap operas like Teresa, which you can watch here on ViX, commented if he would be part of a trip to the famous sunken ocean liner in the future.
“I’m aware of the risk there is and I’m trying to stay in control at that level. The truth is, I don’t know if it would encourage me,” he said honestly.
Rulli will continue to dive into the depths of the sea, although there is also the possibility of an emergency.
“There is one risk in life and that’s what we’re all insured against, which is death, so approach it with awareness.” I believe in life you have to enjoy whatever you put your mind to, and when you play, you play,” he said.
“(To submerge many meters) is a strange feeling. It lies between fear, pleasure and passion. Being 100% aware of your breathing, knowing you need it, is amazing and like meditating. “It can’t be explained, you have to live it,” he said.
The artist knows that there are people who think that those who dive are “crazy”, but he thinks that when you are prepared it is “always interesting to practice, to experiment”.
Still, one would not conduct such underwater activities too many meters below the surface: “No, at 3,800 meters (12,468 feet), no.”
“I was no more than 40 meters (132 feet) deep, which is very risky. “I made it conscious, it wasn’t one of the best experiences, the time you can be down is very short, you don’t see much,” he admitted.
He indicated that he now prefers to dive and explore just “20 meters (65 feet)” because “more interesting things are being observed.”
