Abel Tesfaye headlined alongside Swedish House Mafia on the final night of the California festival’s first weekend, with the pair replacing Kanye West as headliner just a few weeks ago.
During his 17-song set, The Weeknd performed hits from his entire career and made live debuts of three tracks from “Dawn FM”: “Sacrifice”, “How Can I Make You Love Me” and “Out Of Time”.
The first two tracks opened the set and saw The Weeknd finish their own full-length set alongside the Swedish House Mafia. The set then concluded with a performance of their 2021 track Moth To A Flame.
Elsewhere in the set, The Weeknd covered Kanye West’s “Hurricane” in homage to the artist he replaced as headliner, alongside other covers by Future, Drake and Ty Dolla $ign.
