We’ll have to roll our eyes at our sweet evenings for the next few days. From Thursday, April 21 through Tuesday, April 26, a shower of shooting stars will dominate the sky. A unique event in astronomy and we can’t wait to see the show!
A shower of shooting stars that occurs every year. The Lyrids are meteors passing through our Earth’s atmosphere. And it must be said that this month of April is full of emotions in the sky. After the super pink moon, place the meteors. If the clouds obscure our view this weekend, we are in for good weather this Thursday 21st and Friday 22nd April. In addition, the highlight of the activities will take place on Friday evening. A shooting star can be seen in the sky about every four minutes. The little extra? The approach of the new moon will leave us with a low light sky, ideal for stargazing.
If you miss this event, don’t panic, the meteor shower returns as usual in August with the Perseids and its hundred shooting stars per hour. It is always the most beautiful natural spectacle to watch in summer!
