The artist's exwife, Nadine Kjiner, announced his death. She confirmed the actor's death on Instagram: “It is with shock and extreme sadness that I announce that my exhusband passed away this morning. Thank you for so many wonderful memories and for being such a good man. Fly free to the unlimited source of light, Peter”. On the website TMZ, Nadine didn't go into details but reported that Peter had a “sudden” illness.
Crombie played “Crazy” Joe Davola on “Seinfeld” in 1992. The character terrorized and threatened Jerry throughout the series. The series aired from 1989 to 1998 and had nine seasons and 180 episodes.
