Selena Gomez celebrated her return to Los Angeles after spending two months filming her upcoming film Emilia Perez with Zoe Saldaña in Paris at the Nobu Malibu.
After saying goodbye to the French capital earlier this week, the 30-year-old pop star was seen parting ways with friends at the beachfront Japanese restaurant popular with influencers and celebrities.
Walking back to her car on Friday night, the Only Murders in the Building actress looked chic in a longline striped sweater over a white tank top and baggy pants.
For the occasion, she wore her signature brown locks in a sleek bun and was seen carrying some of the venue’s top-notch sushi in a black to-go bag.
Earlier in the day, the Rare Beauty founder reflected on filming her latest project and her time abroad by sharing a slideshow full of her recent adventures.

Gomez also shared a snap of the Paris landmark, the Arc de Triomphe, which towers over the Champs-Élysées in Paris.

Her film Emilia Perez by author and director Jacques Audiard has been described as a “musical crime comedy”.
The film is about a Mexican cartel leader, played by Brazilian trans actress Karla Sofia Gascón, who undergoes a gender reassignment surgery to “become the woman he’s always dreamed of” and after retiring from the deadly business, goes into hiding .
There are no details on who Gomez will play against, although she will appear alongside Saldana, Edgar Ramirez, Eduardo Alaro and others.
Gomez also has two films in pre-production, Spiral and In the Shadow of the Mountain, although it’s unclear which will begin production first.
She will also return as Mabel Mora in the third season of Hulu’s Only Murders in the Building, which premieres August 8.
