Viewers need Netflix and chill.
Selling Sunset star Emma Hernan said her allegations that Ben Affleck slammed her about Raya “ran out of proportion” after the actor denied ever doing anything.
Hernan explained on Monday’s E!’s Daily Pop that her Netflix reality show created a “complete misunderstanding” by making it appear that Affleck, who is engaged to Jennifer Lopez, recently attempted marriage to connect with her through the dating app.
“It wasn’t new. That was 2019. Literally the smallest, innocent little thing, and it was taken, blown up, out of proportion. So that was one thing,” she said.
“I think on the show you didn’t see the time frame, and it just seemed worse, and it was literally the smallest.”
Hernan, 30, expressed that the idea Affleck, 49, recently reached was wrong, doubling down that the exchange happened before J.Lo, 52, was back in the picture.
“End of story. We’re closing this now,” she concluded.
The drama began when the real estate agent, who co-stars Chrishell Stause on Season 5 of “Selling Sunset,” claimed that Affleck had asked her out with Raya.
“He may or may not have texted me,” she teased in the fifth episode, which premiered last Friday. “Maybe he asked to get… coffee a couple of times.”

But Affleck was quick to shut down the allegation, with his rep saying, “Raya has confirmed that he has not been an active member for several years.”
Hernan’s rep then clarified that the exchange happened almost four years ago, well before the Oscar winner and Lopez rekindled their romance in April 2021.
The timeline follows as Page Six exclusively reported in October 2019 that Affleck was looking for love on the exclusive app.
And in April 2021, the “Argo” star went viral after a TikTok user claimed he DMed her a video on Instagram after allegedly matching on Raya.
Affleck and Lopez got engaged again earlier this month when the actor presented the “On the Floor” singer with a $10 million green diamond. They previously wanted to get married in the early 2000s.
