Selma Blair received a restraining order against her ex-boyfriend Ron Carlson after he allegedly assaulted her, according to TMZ.
According to documents obtained by the publication, the alleged incident took place when Carlson went to Blair’s house on Feb. 22 to hand over a TV.
The documents say that Blair told Carlson that she was on medication for multiple sclerosis that day and felt unwell.
In a supposed fit of frustration, Carlson allegedly yelled at Blair: “You’re screwed, you can’t do anything, you can’t love anyone, you’re useless as hell, you’re a cripple… the king deserved it, I can do a lot better than you.”
TMZ reports that Carlson “flowed into a rage and rushed [Blair]jumped on her body as she lay on the sofa, grabbed her by the neck” and then “strangled her, strangled her and shook her head and shoulders aggressively.”
Blair reportedly responded by sticking her fingers in Carlson’s eyes and mouth. Allegedly in response, he covered her mouth and face with his hands, leaving Blair unable to breathe, and later passed out.
When the police arrived to question Blair at her home, TMZ reports that her nose began to bleed profusely before she passed out again.
Carlson was reportedly arrested for severe domestic violence with bodily harm. After the police issued Carlson a five-day restraining order, Blair and her legal team received a temporary restraining order forbidding him from approaching her.
In photos obtained by TMZ, Blair is seen with cuts to her arm and the bottom of her chin. In another photo, she is shown with a bloody nose and a bloodied hand.
Meanwhile, photographs of Carlson show him with small wounds on his nose and forehead.
According to TMZ, Carlson filed for a restraining order against Blair today, more than two weeks after the alleged incident. He claims that Blair became “angry and hostile” when he refused to sit next to her in her house. He claims that they were both recently sick and he wanted to keep his distance.
Carlson also claims that Blair became confrontational and told him that his daughter was a “fucking loser”. She then allegedly swung her right hand in front of his face, punched him in the eye, and proceeded to “scratch his nose, eyes and cheeks”.
He also claims that Blair’s bloody nose was a problem days before the alleged fight.
Carlson’s motion for a restraining order has not yet been granted.
Before breaking up this year, the couple had been dating every now and then since 2017.
A rep for Blair did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
