Republican lawmakers have attacked President Joe Biden as another trove of classified documents was found at his Delaware home.
Sen. Rick Scott of Florida said Biden was either a “hypocrite” or “completely clueless,” joining the legions of lawmakers questioning why former President Donald Trump’s home was being searched by armed FBI agents, as documents revealed were found at his home, but Biden received no such treatment.
Texas Senator Ted Cruz summed it up, tweeting, “When is a full FBI crackdown happening?”.
Even an attorney who once prosecuted Trump during the Mueller probe, Andrew Weissmann, said Biden had “digged a deeper hole” as his administration remained vague on the investigation as more documents surfaced.
Five other classified documents were found Thursday at the President’s home in Delaware.

Senator Scott asked how long he had had the classified documents and demanded accountability and answers.
“Either @JoeBiden is a total hypocrite or completely clueless. Probably both. We need to get to the bottom of this. How long has he had these… 6+ years? Time for accountability.’
At least six classified documents were found at the President’s private home in Wilmington, some of which appear to have been haphazardly stored in boxes stacked in his garage next to his Corvette.
Biden’s lawyers said they found the latest batch of classified documents on Saturday. The total number of classified documents – many of which date from his time as vice president – is now up to two dozen.

Senator John Kennedy identified several problems within the current administration and called for accountability.
“Like the #BidenBorderCrisis, the story of Biden’s classified documents is too big for mainstream media to ignore – and the American people want answers,” he wrote.
Missouri Senator Josh Hawley wrote, “Wait, I thought WH said Thursday the search was complete and there were no more documents,” Josh Hawley wrote on Twitter on Saturday.
Tennessee Senator Marsha Blackburn wrote: “Another batch of classified documents was found in Biden’s private home. They keep coming back.’
Senator Thom Tillis wrote, “Biden should have known better how to handle classified documents.”

Prominent members of the GOP expressed both frustration and disbelief when they questioned why the FBI didn’t take action similar to what it did when Trump kept documents secret
Scores of Republican congressmen also stepped in after the revelation.
Congresswoman Lauren Boebert tweeted: “Another trove of classified documents was found at the Biden residence. This is after Cringe told Karine the search of Biden’s home was complete.
“Looks like they got documents from the log cabin over in Wilmington. Still no FBI raid…’
Texas Congressman Ronny Jackson wrote: “OTHER HIGHLY CLASSIFIED DOCUMENTS FOUND IN BIDENS APARTMENT!!! How’s that going? Biden must NOW disclose how many documents were in his possession and where they were kept. As Vice President he had NO RIGHTS to hold on to this information!!’
Ohio Congressman Jim Jordan added: “Hillary Clinton mishandled classified documents. Joe Biden mishandled classified documents. But the only one whose house is searched is President Trump – and he didn’t even do anything wrong!’

The White House has said it handled both the discovery of the documents and the subsequent statements in a “transparent” manner, yet questions have been raised by pundits from both political parties as to why the public was not briefed ahead of the midterm elections.
Biden was also reminded of his own comments when he criticized former President Trump for keeping his own classified documents at his Mar-a-Lago estate, prompting an FBI raid.
‘How could this happen, how could someone be so irresponsible?’ Biden said on 60 Minutes in September.
The latest discovery came just days after two more sets were found. The first set of sensitive files was found in a DC office for his think tank, and as the Biden administration dodged questions about whether they tracked down other records.

His personal attorneys discovered the documents in the room off the garage at his home, but didn’t have permission to see them, so they had to consult Richard Sauber, the President’s special adviser.
“Because I have a security clearance, I drove to Wilmington Thursday night to facilitate the delivery of the document that the President’s personal attorney found Wednesday to the Justice Department,” Sauber said, according to Fox News.
“While handing it over to the DOJ officials accompanying me, five additional pages of classification markings were discovered among the accompanying material, for a total of six pages. The DOJ officials with me immediately took possession of it.
“The President’s attorneys acted promptly and voluntarily to make the Penn Biden documents available to the Archives and the Wilmington documents to the DOJ,” he said.
